Yin
Yin Yoga is sometimes referred to as Yoga for the joints, not the muscles. It directs the stimulation created by the asana into areas deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues. Yin Yoga works the connective tissue of the ligaments, fascia, joints and bones. All the postures are passively held for anything from three to five minutes. Yin class will leave you relaxed and restored and may assist with healing from injuries as well as improve flexibility.
